Jalozai

Jalozai refugee camp, 35 kilometres southeast of Peshawar, Pakistan, was one of the largest of 150 refugee or transit camps in Pakistan, holding Afghan refugees from the 1980s Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. It had an estimated 70,000 refugees at its peak. New Jalozai adjoined the original Jalozai camp in November 2000, taking in a new wave of arriving Afghan refugees.

Dag Ismail Khel

Dak Ismail Khel is a village in Nowshera District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Surrounding villages are Chapri, Saleh Khana, Spin Khak, Jaroba and Jalozai. It is the largest village with respect to both area and population in the region. Its main inhabitants are Khattak which is further divided into two social classes (ذات) Miangan and Khattak, although their roots are same; both are the descendents of Ismail Neeka.

Spin Khak

Spin Khak is a town in Nowshera District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at 33°52'0N 71°46'0E and lies 45 kilometres south of Peshawar at an altitude of 483 metres (1587 feet). The population is 19,000, the people of this village are very polite and mostly people are involve in their businesses, a small number are involved in government jobs.

Cherat

Cherat is a hill station, immediately above the village Chapri and Saleh Khana in the Nowshera District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Cherat lies 34 miles south east from the city of Peshawar at an elevation of 4,500 feet on the west of the Khattak range, which divides the district of Nowshera from Kohat. Because Cherat is the headquarters of the Special Service Group of Pakistan Army, the area is off limits to the public.
