PAF Base Rafiqui

Rafiqui Airbase or Shorkot Airbase is a PAF Airbase located near Shorkot, Jhang District, Punjab, Pakistan. The base is named in the honor of Squadron Leader Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui for his valor in Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. PAF Rafiqui is located in central Pakistan 337 kilometers South of Islamabad. Noonanwali, also spelt Nunwala, is a town and union council of Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Kharian Tehsil and is located at 30°30'0N 72°5'0E with an altitude of 122 metres (403 feet). The village Noonanwali are in the middle of Kharian and Dinga(dingaroad).
