Jhang Sadar

Jhang Sadr is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, situated by the Chenab River and 193 kilometres from Lahore, at 31.28 N latitude and 72.32 E longitude. The population of Jhang Sadar was calculated to be 354,248 in 2007 (293,366 in 1998). The principal trades are in wheat and cloth. The Government High School Pakkay Wala is a high school situated on the Jhang-Sargodha Road. The school was established in 1926.

Jhelum River

Government Post Graduate College Jhang

Government Postgraduate College Jhang is located in Jhang, Pakistan. The college is affiliated with the University of the Punjab. It was established in 1926. The College has produced Nobel Prize winner. Abdus Salam (Nobel laureate in Physics) studied in Govt College Jhang. Urdu Poet Majeed Amjad studied there. The College staff consists of 160 professors. Another Poet, writer and critic of Urdu language Wazir Agha graduated from this college.

Qaim Bharwana

Qaim Bharwana is a town of the Jhang district in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town is famous for the Bharwana sub-clan of the Sial tribe and Awans. Near Qaim Bharwana, Chak Dharopah is very famous for the old buildings showing the culture and heritage of Muslim history.
