Balkasar Bear Sanctuary

Balkasar Bear Sanctuary, established in 2010 by Fakhar Abbas of WSPA, is an animal sanctuary located in Balkassar, Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. The sanctuary provides a retirement and rehabilitation home, and veterinary care for rescued bears from bear-baiting events. It houses the endangered species of Asian black bears and Himalayan brown bears. Balkasar Bear Sanctuary also has ornithology and herpetalogy research stations.

Begal

Begal is a village and union council, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan, it is part of Chakwal Tehsil and is located at 33°2'57N 72°39'11E. Begal is also a popular surname throughout the world, including American philanthropist and businessman Bill Begal. He is also a co-founder of the Mitzvah Heroes Charitable Tzedakah Fund.

Balkassar

Balkassar is a village and union council, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan It is part of Choa Saidanshah Tehsil. The village gets its name from the Kassar tribe, who also make up the bulk of the population. It is one of a cluster of villages such as Chawli, Dhudial, Mangwal, Bikhari Khurd and Balokassar, which form the tribal homeland of the Kassar (Mughal)tribe.

Gah, Pakistan

Gah is a village of Chakwal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located in the Union council of Begal (also known as Bigal) at 33°3'45N 72°39'8E, the Naib Nazim or vice president of Begal is from Gah. Gah is the birthplace of current Indian Prime minister Manmohan Singh. Due to the violence that accompanied the Partition of India in 1947 Hindus and Sikhs had to leave the area for India.

Chawli

Chawli is a village in the District Chakwal Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 33°1'36N 72°34'1E with an altitude of 403 metres (1325 feet). Members of the Kassar tribe make up the bulk of the population. It is one of a cluster of villages such as Balkassar, Dhudial, Mangwal and Balokassar, which form the tribal homeland of the Kassar.
