Hyderabad District, Pakistan

Haiderābād District, pronunciation is a district of Sindh, Pakistan. It used to be an administrative division of the Sindh namely the Hyderabad Division, until the reforms of 2000 abolished the third tier of government. Its capital is the city of Hyderabad. The Kirthar National Park is located in Hyderabad district. According to the 2012 census of Pakistan, the district had a population of 6 million of which 60.07% were urban, making it second-most urbanised district of Sindh after Karachi.

Hyderabad Division

Hyderabad Division is an administrative division of the Sindh Province of Pakistan. It was abolished in 2000 but restored again on 11th July 2011. Hyderabad is the divisional headquarter of Hyderabad Division. Its comprising on five districts including Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Jamshoro and Dadu.
