Rawabi

Rawabi is the first Palestinian planned city in the West Bank. Rawabi is to be located near Birzeit and Ramallah. A master plan has been drawn up for the city, which will consist of 10,000 homes in six neighborhoods with a population of 40,000. Construction began in January 2010.

Bani Zeid al-Sharqiya

Bani Zeid al-Sharqiya is a Palestinian town in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. It was formed as a result of a merger of the villages of 'Arura, Mazari al-Nubani, and Abwein, although the latter separated from the municipality. Bani Zeid al-Sharqiya is 3 kilometers north of Ajjul and other nearby localities include Deir as-Sudan to the southeast, Kafr Ein to the east, and Abwein to the southwest.

Harasha

Harasha, or Haresha, is a Jewish village and Israeli outpost in the Binyamin region of the northern section of the West Bank, located in the Dolev region near Talmon. At 770 metres, the view from the village reaches Hadera in the northwest, Ashkelon in the southwest, and Jerusalem in the east. Harasha was established on 14 January 1999 by two students from Mercaz haRav with assistance from the Amana settlement organization.

Battle of Wadi Haramia

The Battle of Wadi Haramia was the first Hand to hand combat battle fought between the Maccabees and the Seleucid Empire in 167 BC. The Jewish forces were led by Judas Maccabaeus and the Seleucid army force was under the command of Apollonius. After the Maccabean revolt started, Judas relocated his guerrilla combat units at the northern part of the Shomron. Apollonius, governor of Samaria, was sent with the local Samarian armies to link up with Seleucid forces from Jerusalem.
