Mactan

Mactan is an island located a few kilometres from Cebu Island in the Philippines. The island is part of Cebu Province and it is divided into Lapu-Lapu City and the municipality of Cordova. The island is separated from Cebu by the Mactan Channel which is crossed by two bridges: the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. Malacañang sa Sugbo

Malacañang sa Sugbo (English: Malacañang of Cebu, Tagalog: Malakanyang sa Cebu, is the official residence of the President of the Philippines in the Visayas region. It is located near the Port of Cebu City along the Mactan Channel. It is situated near Fort San Pedro and within walking distance from the other attractions of the city like the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Magellan's Cross, and the Cebu City Hall.

Magellan's Cross

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on (depending on source) April 14 or 21, 1521. This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street (Magallanes being the Spanish name of Magellan), just in front of the city center of Cebu City.
