Bohol (island)

Bohol Island /boʊˈhɔːl/ boh-HAWL is the main island of Bohol Province in the Visayas. It lies southeast from Cebu Island across the Cebu Strait (in some references called Bohol Strait) and southwest from Leyte Island, separated by the Camotes Sea and Canigao Channel. Bohol is also located north of Mindanao with the Bohol Sea between them.

Chocolate Hills

The Chocolate Hills is a geological formation in Bohol Province, Philippines. There are at least 1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres . They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name. The Chocolate Hills is a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. They are featured in the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attractions in the province.

Kinoguitan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 10,519 people in 2,043 households. The town name Kinoguitan is spelled by the old folks especially during the early 1950s as Kinogitan. It should not be confused that Kinoguitan and Kinogitan are one municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary or IHMS, located at Pacifico Cabalit St. , Taloto, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines, is a diocesan college seminary established in 1950 by Julio Rosales, Bishop of Tagbilaran, in implementation of Canon 1354, no. 2 of the 1917 Code of Canon Law that required the Bishop to establish such institution. It was first administered by the Divine Word Missionaries or SVDs for a contract of 10 years.
