Gardeja

Gardeja (formerly German Garnsee) is a village in Kwidzyn County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Gardeja. It lies approximately 15 kilometres south of Kwidzyn and 87 km south of the regional capital Gdańsk. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
