Tuchola Forest

The Tuchola Forest, also known as Tuchola Pinewoods, (literal translation of Polish: Bory Tucholskie; Kashubian: Tëchòlsczé Bòrë; German: Tuchler or Tucheler Heide) is a large forest near the town of Tuchola (Tucheln) in northern Poland, which lies between the Brda and Wda Rivers. It contains the Tuchola Forest National Park, which is at the core of the Tuchola Forest Biosphere Reserve, designated by UNESCO in 2010.

Cekcyn

Cekcyn is a village in Tuchola County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Cekcyn. It lies approximately 11 kilometres east of Tuchola and 51 km north of Bydgoszcz. The village has a population of 1,710. Cekcyn is the picturesque village in the middle of 'Bory Tucholskie' Region. Around the buildings there are few lakes with the biggest one - Wielkie Jezioro Cekcyńskie.
