Piątnica (until 1999 Piątnica Poduchowna) is a village in Łomża County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. It is the seat of gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Piątnica. It lies approximately 4 kilometres north of Łomża and 73 km west of the regional capital Białystok. In 2006 the village had a population of 1,800.

Łomża

Łomża is a city in north-eastern Poland, approximately 90 miles from Warsaw and 50 miles (81 km) from Białystok. It is situated alongside the Narew river as part of the Podlaskie Voivodeship since 1999. Previously, it was the capital of the Łomża Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. It is the capital of Łomża County and has been the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Łomża since 1925.

Great Synagogue, Łomża

The Great Synagogue was a historic Jewish synagogue in Łomża, Poland. The synagogue stood at the south-east corner of the Main Square at the intersection of today's Giełczyńska and Senatorska 28 streets. It was built in 1878-1889 on the initiative of Rabbi Eliezer-Simcha Rabinowicz, and designed by an Italian-Polish architect Enrico Marconi from Congress Poland.
