Łukta

Łukta (German Locken) is a village in Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Łukta. It lies approximately 15 kilometres north-east of Ostróda and 28 km west of the regional capital Olsztyn. The village has a population of 1,000. It lies on the river Łukta. The village is the location of a local road junction, where three voivodeship roads meet: the 527, 530 and 531.
