Sânpetru
Sânpetru is a commune in Braşov County, Romania, located 5 km north of the county capital Braşov. It is composed of a single village, Sânpetru. This area was home to many Transylvanian Saxons although after 1989 much of this community emigrated to Germany. The center of the village was built by this group and shows the influence of German architecture. Separate from this there is a crowded Romanian-built area featuring a small church and houses dating at least to the early 19th century.

Bod Transmitter
The Bod Transmitter (also known as the Braşov Transmitter) is the name of the transmitter facility for the central longwave radio station near Bod, Romania. It was designed by the engineer Cartianu Popescu and built in 1933/34. It currently operates on a frequency of 153 kHz with an output power of 1200 kW (although this value may not be used). It uses as its antenna a T-antenna hung up on two 250 metre tall guyed masts.
