Măieruș
Măieruş is a commune in Braşov County, Romania, on the left of Olt river. It is located 30 km away from the county capital Braşov. It is composed of two villages, Arini and Măieruş. The settlement is mentioned for the first time in 1377 as "villa nucum". It is considered to be the most northern commune in historical Burzenland, although Apața is nowadays the northern limit of it. At the 2011 census, 56.1% of inhabitants were Romanians, 40.3% Roma, 2.6% Germans and 0.9% Hungarians.

Apaţa is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Apaţa. At the 2011 census, 45.1% of inhabitants were Romanians, 36.8% Hungarians and 17.9% Roma. At the 2002 census, 37.8% were Evangelical Lutheran, 36.4% Pentecostal, 20.1% Romanian Orthodox and 2.4% had no religion.

The Perşani Mountains is a mountain range in central Romania. Geologically the Perşani Mountains are part of the Căliman-Harghita Mountains of the Inner Eastern Carpathians. Within Romania, however, it's traditional to divide the Eastern Carpathians in Romanian territory into three geographical groups (north, center, south) instead. The Romanian categorization includes the Perşani Mountains within the central Carpathians of Moldavia and Transylvania (Munţii Carpaţi Moldo-Transilvani).

Feldioara
Feldioara is a Romanian commune located in Transylvania, very close to Braşov (about 10 miles or 15 kilometers). It is composed of three villages: Colonia Reconstrucţia (Bohntelep), Feldioara and Rotbav (Rothbach; Szászveresmart). At the 2011 census, 88.8% of inhabitants were Romanians, 6.9% Hungarians and 3.5% Roma. It has a medieval fortress long believed to have been built by the Teutonic Knights.

Bârsa River (Olt)
The Bârsa River is a tributary of the Olt River in Romania. It starts at the junction of two headwaters: Bârsa Groşetului and Bârsa Tămaşului. As several tributaries also have the name Bârsa, in order to differentiate them, the main course of the river is frequently referred to as Bârsa Mare.
