Sochi River

The Sochi is a river in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Originating at Bolshaya Shura Mountain in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it flows 47km southwest and enters the Black Sea at Sochi, itself named for the river and site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. It is the third longest river in Sochi after the Mzymta and the Shakhe.

Dagomys

Dagomys; is a microraion of Sochi, Russia (18 km from the city centre), known for its resorts, vacation spots and tea plantations. It was developed as a resort since before the Russian Revolution, when a botanical garden was founded by order of Tsar Nicholas II. A modern hotel complex was opened there in 1982.

Sochi International Airport (Russian: Международный Аэропорт Сочи) is an airport located in Adler District of the resort city of Sochi, on the coast of the Black Sea in the federal subject of Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The operator of the airport is JSC International, which is part of the aviation holding company Basic Element Aero. As of 2010, the airport is the eighth busiest airport in Russia, serving 1.9 million passengers.

Armavia Flight 967

Armavia Flight 967 was a flight operated by Armavia, the largest international airline of Armenia on May 3, 2006, from Yerevan in Armenia to Sochi, a Black Sea coastal resort city in Russia. The aircraft crashed into the sea while attempting to conduct a go-around following its first approach to Sochi airport, killing all 113 aboard.
