Shcherbinovsky District is an administrative district, one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Shcherbinovsky Municipal District. It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 1,377 square kilometers . Its administrative center is the rural locality of Staroshcherbinovskaya. District's population: 37,301; 38,816; 36,208. The population of Staroshcherbinovskaya accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.

Lake Khanskoye
Lake Khanskoye ("Khan's Lake", Ханское озеро; also Tatar Lake, Татарское озеро) is a salt lake near Yeysk, in Yeysky District, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The lake is 19 km long and 7 km wide. It has a depth of up to 1.8 meters. A narrow spit separates it from the eastern shore of the Sea of Azov. It used to be an inlet of the sea and was connected to the Baisug Lagoon. The lake is about 12 times saltier than the neighbouring sea.
