Victoria Bastion
The Victoria Bastion is a fortified structure designed by Erik Dahlberg in Narva, Estonia built in 1683-1704. The bastion was destroyed in 1704 during the Great Northern War between Sweden and Russia and was rebuilt after the war. It is officially listed as part of the cultural heritage in Estonia. The Battle of Narva was a military campaign between the German Army Detachment "Narwa" and the Soviet Leningrad Front fought for possession of the strategically important Narva Isthmus on 2 February – 10 August 1944 during World War II. The campaign took place in the northern section of the Eastern Front and consisted of two major phases: the Battle for Narva Bridgehead (February to July 1944) and the Battle of Tannenberg Line (July–August 1944).

Battle for Narva Bridgehead
This is a sub-article to Battle of Narva. The Battle of Narva Bridgehead was the campaign that stalled the Soviet Estonian Operation in the surroundings of the town of Narva for five and a half months. It was the first phase of the Battle of Narva campaign fought at the Eastern Front during World War II. A number of volunteer Waffen SS units from Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium fought on the German side.

Ivangorod Fortress
Ivangorod Fortress is a Russian medieval castle established by Ivan III in 1492 and since then grown into the town of Ivangorod. The fortress overlooks the Narva River opposite the Narva Hermann Castle and the Estonian city of Narva. The fortress should reaffirm Ivan's right to access the sea and at the same time form a bulwark against the Baltic dominant Teutonic Order. On the left bank stands since the 13th Century the powerful Hermann Castle, a castle of the Teutonic Order.

Hermann Castle
Hermann Castle (also Hermannsfeste, Herman Castle, Narva Castle, and Narva fortress) is a castle in Narva, eastern Estonia. It was founded in 1256 by the Danes and the first stone castle was built in the beginning of the 14th century. The German Livonian Teutonic knights order purchased the castle on 29 August 1346, and for most of its history the castle was German Teutonic.
