Luga River

The Luga River is a river in Novgorod Oblast and Leningrad Oblast of Russia. The river flows into the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. It freezes up in the early December and stays under the ice until early April. Its main tributary is the Oredezh River. The certain parts of the Luga River are navigable. The towns of Luga and Kingisepp are situated on the Luga River. The mouth of the Luga is the site of the Ust-Luga container terminal.

Luga Bay

The Luga Bay is a shallow bay near the southern Russian coast of the Gulf of Finland. It is free of ice 326 days a year. Kurgalsky Peninsula separates the bay from the Bay of Narva to the west, while the Soikinsky Peninsula separates it from the Koporye Bay to the east. The Luga River empties into the bay near Ust-Luga.

Vistino

Vistino is a rural locality in Kingiseppsky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia, located in the west portion of the Soikinsky Peninsula, on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Population: 991 (2007 est.). The village has a museum dedicated to the Izhorian heritage of the region. The Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex, an industrial zone, is planned to be built around Vistino.

Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex (Russian: Мультимодальный комплекс Усть-Луга, Multimodalnyi kompleks Ust-Luga) is a project aimed at development of the portside area of about 3000 hectares located on the Soikinsky Peninsula by the Gulf of Finland in close proximity to the terminals of Ust-Luga Sea Merchant Port in Kingiseppsky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia. The project developer is LLC "Multimodal complex Ust-Luga".
