Yakhroma
Yakhroma is a town in Dmitrovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Yakhroma River, 55 kilometers north of Moscow. Population: 13,214; 13,361; 17,499. Yakhroma was founded in 1841 as a settlement servicing a local cloth factory on the Yakroma River. In 1901, Yakhroma railway station (Moscow -Kimry line) was built near the settlement, which later adopted the same name. It was granted town status in 1940.

Bely Rast High Voltage Research Station
Belvy Rast High Voltage Research Station is a facility for the development of high voltage equipment in Russia, situated at Belvy Rast in Moscovskaya Oblast. Built in 1966, the equipment of the 750 kV- and 1150 kV-lines in Russia and other parts of the former Soviet Union were first developed and tested at this facility, as well as the equipment for the never completed HVDC Ekibastuz-Centre. The facility also has an unused 1150 kV AC and a 1500 kV DC line.

UVB-76
UZB76 (sometimes referred to as UVB76, but recently MDZhB) is the call sign of a shortwave radio station that usually broadcasts on the frequency 4625 kHz. It is known among English speaking radio listeners by the nickname The Buzzer, and by Russian listeners as Russian: жужжалка 'the hummer'. It features a short, monotonous buzz tone, repeating at a rate of approximately 25 tones per minute, for 24 hours per day. The station has been observed since around 1982.
