Iksha

Iksha is an urban locality in Dmitrovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located 45 kilometers north of Moscow along the Dmitrov highway and the Moscow Canal, and is a junction of the Savyolovo Railway. Population: 3,721; 3,738; 4,619. The settlement was founded during the construction of the railroad from Moscow to Dmitrov in 1889. It further developed due to the construction of the Moscow Canal in the 1930s.

Bely Rast High Voltage Research Station

Belvy Rast High Voltage Research Station is a facility for the development of high voltage equipment in Russia, situated at Belvy Rast in Moscovskaya Oblast. Built in 1966, the equipment of the 750 kV- and 1150 kV-lines in Russia and other parts of the former Soviet Union were first developed and tested at this facility, as well as the equipment for the never completed HVDC Ekibastuz-Centre. The facility also has an unused 1150 kV AC and a 1500 kV DC line.

Ucha River

Ucha River is a river in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is a left tributary of the Klyazma River. The Ucha is 42 km in length, with a drainage basin of 605 km². It flows through the towns of Pushkino and Ivanteyevka, and flows into the Klyazma River at the town of Shchyolkovo. Tributaries: Serebryanka, Akulovka, Samoryadovka, Razderikha.

Fedoskino miniature is a traditional Russian lacquer miniature painting on papier-mache, named after its original center Fedoskino (Федоскино), an old village near Moscow widely known from the late 18th century.
