Skhodnya River

Skhodnya River, also known as Sukhodnya, Vkhodnya, Vykhodnya and Vskhodnya is a river in the northwest of Moscow, the second largest tributary of the Moskva River. The length of the Skhodnya is 47 km (5 km in Moscow proper). The area of its basin is 17,2 km² (within the city). The Skhodnya originates near the village of Alabushevo and flows into the Moskva River near the Tushino Airfield.

Ucha River

Ucha River is a river in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is a left tributary of the Klyazma River. The Ucha is 42 km in length, with a drainage basin of 605 km². It flows through the towns of Pushkino and Ivanteyevka, and flows into the Klyazma River at the town of Shchyolkovo. Tributaries: Serebryanka, Akulovka, Samoryadovka, Razderikha.

Skhodnya

Skhodnya was formerly a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Skhodnya River some 12 km northwest of Moscow. On September 15, 2004, it was merged into the city of Khimki. Skhodnya's population was recorded at 19,119 inhabitants as of the 2002 Census; down from 20,366 recorded in the 1989 Census. In 1974, the population stood at around 19,000. Skhodnya was founded in 1874 and granted town status in 1961.

Shtyki Memorial

The Shtyki Memorial, also named the Monument to the Defenders of Moscow (памятник Защитникам Москвы), is a memorial complex in honour of those who defended Russia in the Battle of Moscow. At the site are a common grave and an architectural complex. It is located on the 40th km of Leningrad highway, at the second entry into the city of Zelenograd heading south, and the road to Mendeleyevo heading north.
