Taldom transmitter is a large facility for longwave and shortwave broadcasting located near Taldom, Russia. It transmits on two longwave frequencies, on 153 kHz with 300 kW and on 261 kHz with a power of 2500 kW, the latter is the most powerful broadcasting station in the world.

Taldom

Taldom is a town and the administrative center of Taldomsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, situated 110 kilometers north of Moscow, on a suburban railway connecting Moscow to Savyolovo. Population: 13,819; 13,334; 14,410. It was founded in 1677. In 1918, it was granted town status and became the first town to be renamed Leninsk in honor of the first Premier of the Soviet Union Vladimir Lenin (who was still alive then). In 1929, the original name was restored.

RBU (radio station)

RBU is a time code radio station located in Moscow . It transmits a continuous 10 kW time code on 66⅔ kHz. This is commonly written as 66.66 or 66.666 kHz, but is actually 200/3 = 66.6̅ kHz. Until 2008, the transmitter site was near Kupavna {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:55|44|04|N|38|9|0|E|type:landmark | |name=RBU }}.

Savyolovo

Savyolovo is a microdistrict of the town of Kimry in Tver Oblast, Russia. It lies on the right bank of the Volga River and is connected to the left-bank part of Kimry by a 554 m long bridge over the Volga (the longest bridge in Tver Oblast). The expansion of the ancient village of Savyolovo at the beginning of the 20th century was due to the opening there in 1900 of a railway station on a new direct line to Moscow.
