Šanac

Šanac is a village in the municipality of Kruševac, located along the left bank of the river Zapadna Morava. A typical village of Serbian Pomoravlje, mostly stretched along the main road, expanding into the valley and, in some places, into the hill above. Although an agricultural area, the population is mostly employed in Kruševac, a nearby city, while only a relatively small number of inhabitants, mostly old generation, works strictly as farmers.

Kruševac Fortress

Kruševac Fortress or City of Prince Lazar was a medieval fortified town in Kruševac, Serbia, former capital of Prince Lazar. Within the city there is the court church Lazarica. Today, all that remains of the town is very small ruins.

Despot Stefan Lazarević Memorial

The Monument to Despot Stefan Lazarević (Спомен обележје Деспоту Стефану Лазаревићу) is located in the village of Crkvine by Mladenovac, Serbia, in courtyard of the church of St. prophet Elijah. That is marble monument with medieval record on death of Despot Stefan Lazarević. The monument was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1979, and it is now protected by Republic of Serbia.
