HM Pitje Stadium

HM Pitje Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Mamelodi, a suburb of City of Tshwane, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is set to be utilized as a training field for teams participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup after being renovated in 2009 and brought up to FIFA standards. In the past, it was the part-time home stadium of Mamelodi Sundowns who now play at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Pretoria National Botanical Garden

The Pretoria National Botanical Garden is one of South Africa's nine National Botanical Gardens. The garden is wedged between Pretoria Road and Cussonia Avenue in Brummeria, in eastern Pretoria, Gauteng, and flanks a central rocky ridge that runs from east to west. The 76 hectares garden was established in 1946, and of late hosts the headquarters of the South African National Biodiversity Institute.

Council for Scientific and Industrial Research

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is South Africa's central and premier scientific research and development organisation. It was established by an act of parliament in 1945 and is situated on its own campus in the city of Pretoria. It is the largest research and development (R&D) organisation in Africa and accounts for about 10% of the entire African R&D budget.

CSIR International Convention Centre

The CSIR International Convention Centre (CSIR ICC) is a convention centre in Pretoria/Tshwane, South Africa. The Centre is situated in the east of South Africa’s Capital City within the research, academic and ambassadorial hub of Tshwane and is on the grounds of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). With a R35m upgrade and expansion, the CSIR ICC now has 12 venues, including a 1000 square metre exhibition hall, outdoor alfresco dining deck.
