Utrera

Utrera is a municipality in south-west Spain. It is in the province of Seville, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. As of 2008 it has a population close to 50,202. The town is of great historical interest. Records about the town date back to the 13th century, when Alfonso X overran Utrera as part of his conquest of Seville, located 30 km to the northwest. However, archaeological work shows people have lived on the site since pre-Roman times.

Amate (Seville Metro)

Amate is a station of the Seville Metro on the line 1. It is located at the intersection of Los Gavilanes Av. and Puerto del Escudo St. , in the neighborhood of Parque Amate. Amate is an underground station, located between 1º de Mayo and La Plata stations on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009.

1º de Mayo (Seville Metro)

1º de Mayo (English: May 1st) is a station of the Seville Metro on line 1. It is located at the intersection of Federico Mayo Gayarre and Ronda del Tamarguillo avenues in the district of Cerro-Amate. 1º de Mayo is an underground station situated between Gran Plaza and Amate on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009. It is expected that by 2017 the station will have a connection with line 4 of the subway (that it is still in planning phase).
