Las Arenas
Las Arenas (Areeta in Basque) is a neighbourhood of Getxo. It is an affluent residential area that was built over the sands of a beach where the Gobela Creek died into a diffuse delta at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao in the early 20th Century. It is connected to Portugalete at the other side of the firth by the Puente Colgante and offers a marina, a small beach that can unfortunately be polluted, and a monument to Evaristo Churruca, who planned and directed the canalization of the estuary.

Bizkaia Arena
Bizkaia Arena is an indoor arena in Barakaldo, Greater Bilbao. It is the biggest multipurpose hall in Spain, as it can hold up to 26,000 people, and 18,640 for most indoor sports. The arena is part of the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) complex, the Exhibition and Congress Centre of Bilbao and Biscay, since April 2004. The venue regularly hosts basketball games, for which it has a capacity of 15,414.
