Albéniz (Álava)

Albéniz is a village in Álava, Basque Country, Spain. It is one of the typical villages of the Alava Plain nestled in the municipality of Asparrena. The village surrounds a svelte church with its tower and it is enclosed by the Umandia, Albéniz, Olano and Ballo mountains. San Millán is a scattered municipality made up of several villages located in the province of Araba, in the Basque Country, northern Spain. Araia (Álava)

Araia is a village in the province of Álava, Basque Country, Spain. It is the capital of the municipality of Asparrena. It has a population of 1,218 inhabitants (2006) and has an altitude of 604 meters. One of medieval roads from the port of San Adrián to the Plains of Alava passed through Araia. It was an important pilgrimage and trade route.
