Svenljunga Municipality
Svenljunga Municipality (Svenljunga kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Svenljunga. The present municipality was created in 1971 when five municipal units (or parts thereof) were amalgamated. The number of original entities (as of 1863) is 14. Through the municipality the river Ätran flows in a scenic valley. It flows through the town of Svenljunga, where an old bridge crosses it.

Torpa stenhus
Torpa stenhus is a well preserved medieval castles near Åsunden, in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden. The first stone house was built around 1470 by Privy Council Arvid Knutsson as fortress against the Danes. Reconstruction and remodeling took during the 1500s and 1600s. The castle has a well-preserved Renaissance interior. The chapel, which was decorated in the late 1600s, is in baroque style. The castle is best known in history as the manor of the Swedish noble family of Stenbock.

Borås once was the textile capital of Sweden and this museum is now located in a former textile factory building from 1898, Åkerlund's Cotton Spinning Ltd. , that has been turned into a museum. Around the year of 1900 the textile industry of Borås began to flourish, making the city grow.

Bäckängsgymnasiet is a gymnasium in Borås, Sweden that offers university preparatory programs in the natural and social sciences, art, and the humanities. The school was founded in 1901 as "Högre allmänna läroverket i Borås", which can be translated as "the higher education institute of Borås".
