Öckerö Municipality (Öckerö kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Öckerö on the main island, which is also called Öckerö. Preem is the largest supplier of petroleum products in Sweden and its two refieneries, Preemraff Göteborg in Gothenburg and Preemraff Lysekil in Lysekil represent two-thirds of Sweden's refining capacity. Älvsborg fortress
Älvsborg, also Elfsborg Fortress, is a large sea fortress in Rivö fjord, within modern Gothenburg, Sweden. Situated at the mouth of the Göta River, it served to protect medieval Sweden's only access to the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean and the nearby settlement of today's Gothenburg and its four predecessors. The original Old Älvsborg Fortress (Swedish: Älvsborgs fästning or Älvsborgs slott) was located on the mainland, on the southern shore of the estuary, above modern Klippan.
