Fik Airfield

Fik Airfield is an Israeli airfield located in the Golan Heights, near the Israeli settlement and kibbutz Afik. The airfield is used for private aviation activity and operated by the Golan Regional Council. Fik has seen traffic drop in recent years, but is used by Elbit Systems to test their Unmanned aerial vehicles. The airfield was the site of Israel's 2001 Kart racing championship, and there is talk of converting it into a race track.

Château Golan

Château Golan is an Israeli winery established in 1999, and is one of Israel's most extravagant. It is located in the southern Golan Heights, near the point where the Yarmuk River and wadi Ruqqad meet. The winemaker is Uri Hetz. The winery features a French-style Château, built from basalt, which is also used for art exhibitions.

Mechinat Avnei Eitan

Mechinat Avnei Eitan, also referred to as Leadership Yeshiva Academy in English, is a pre-military mechina which combines classical Yeshiva learning with the preparation for the service in the Israeli Defence Forces and leadership functions in Jewish communities. The mechina, the first of its kind for English speakers, was founded in 2004, on Moshav Avnei Eitan in the Golan Heights annexed by Israel in 1981.

Yarmouk River

The Yarmouk River is the largest tributary of the Jordan River. It drains much of the Hauran Plateau. It is one of three main tributaries which enter the Jordan between the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. To the south, are the Jabbok/Zarqa and the Arnon/Wadi Mujib) rivers. The Yarmouk forms the border between Israel and Jordan close to the Jordan Valley and between Syria and Jordan further upstream. It is the southern boundary of the Golan Heights.
