Hisor District
Hisor District (also transliterated as Hissar, Gissar) or Nohiyai Hisor is a district in the Region of Republican Subordination, in Tajikistan, located west of the capital Dushanbe, between Varzob District in the east and Shahrinaw District in the west. The Dushanbe Flagpole is a flagpole located in front of the Palace of Nations in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. It is the tallest free-standing flagpole in the world, at a height of 165 m, beating the 162 m National Flagpole in Azerbaijan and the 133 m Ashgabat Flagpole at Turkmenistan. The flagpole flies a 700 kg, 30 × 60 metre Flag of Tajikistan.

Tajik Agrarian University (TAU) "named after Shirinsho Shotemur" (Донишгоҳи аграрии Тоҹикистон) is a university in Tajikistan. It is located in Dushanbe. In 1931, the Central Asian Fruit-and-Vegetable Institute was founded in the city of Khujand. In 1934 the institute was reorganized and renamed into the Tajik Agricultural Institute. In 1992, the institute was reorganized into Tajik Agrarian University.
