Samut Sakhon Province

Samut Sakhon is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand, established by the Act Establishing Changwat Samut Prakan, Changwat Nonthaburi, Changwat Samut Sakhon and Changwat Nakhon Nayok, Buddhist Era 2489 (1946), which came into force as from March 9, 1946. Bang Khun Thien Museum

Bang Khun Thien Museum (Also Bang Khun Thian) is a museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a community museum in Bang Khun Thian District on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya River in southern Bangkok. The museum offers an insight into the history and culture of the locals over many centuries and is under the control of the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority. The area has a long history of farming and trading, particularly rice.

Assumption Cathedral, Bangkok

The Assumption Cathedral is the principal Roman Catholic church of Thailand, located at 23 Oriental Avenue, New Road, in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok. It is the main church of the Archdiocese of Bangkok. It was visited by Pope John Paul II during his trip to Thailand in 1984.
