Ortoire River

The Ortoire River is a large river in Trinidad and Tobago. It forms the boundary between Nariva County and Mayaro County in east Trinidad. It is green in color and at one time had an iron bridge with wooden planks but it has been replaced with an all paved concrete bridge; also it was made higher to reduce flooding.

Mayaro Bay

Mayaro Bay is the largest bay of the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast of the island of Trinidad in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The beach which lines this bay, Mayaro Beach, is a popular destination for holidays, long weekends, and is one of the traditional places to spend the Easter holidays. The shore is lined with holiday homes.

Guayaguayare

Guayaguayare is the southeasternmost village in Trinidad and Tobago. It lies at the southern end of the county of Mayaro. Guayaguayare (often simply called Guaya) is primarily a fishing village, but it also plays a major role in the petroleum industry.

Tamana caves

Tamana caves (or Tamana cave) is a cave system located on the northern slope of Mount Tamana in eastern Trinidad. Mount Tamana is a 307-metre flat topped hill of Miocene Guaracara Limestone of the Tamana Formation in the eastern Central Range. Julian Kenny described the main cave as consisting of 18 separate sections. He documented two chimneys and a "walk-in chamber".
