San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago
San Juan is a town in Trinidad and Tobago. It lies in North Eastern Trinidad, between Barataria and St. Joseph. It is a busy town in the East-West Corridor; the centre of town is known as the Croisee. Population is 54,900 (2004), and it is the third city of the country, larger than the capital. San Juan is governed by the San Juan-Laventille Regional Corporation. Pronounced "Sahwah" by the local people, San Juan is the first major along the East-West Corridor by maxi-taxis and buses.

Beetham Estate Gardens
Beetham Estate Garden is a neighbourhood in eastern Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago south of Laventille and northeast of Sea Lots between the Beetham Highway and the Eastern Main Road. Formerly, a slum called rat town, the community evolved as a residential area to some extent. The area still has squatters living in the vicinity. In 2008-9 the government built a four foot (1.2m) high wall around the 'gardens'.
