Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul

The Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Tunis. Dedicated to Saint Vincent de Paul, patron saint of charity, the cathedral is the see of the Archdiocese of Tunis. It is situated in the Place de l'Indépendence in the Ville Nouvelle, a crossroads between Avenue Habib Bourguiba and Avenue de France, opposite the French embassy. The church was built in a mixture of styles, including Moorish revival, Gothic revival, and Neo-Byzantine.

University of Ez-Zitouna

Ez-Zitouna University (جامعة الزيتونة) is located in Tunis. It is claimed to be the oldest teaching establishment in the Arab World, since the Ez-Zitouna madrassa was founded in 737 C.E. (120 A. H) as the teaching arm of the Olive-Tree Mosque (Djemaa ez-Zitouna) and has been in continuous existence since then.

Bab Saadoun

Bab Saadoun is one of the gates of the medina of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. Constructed circa 1350 on the edge of the suburb of Bab Souika, it owes its name to the saint Sidi Bou Saadoun. Controlling the routes to Béja, Bizerte and El Kef, it had only originally had one narrow arch originally and it was replaced in 1881 by a gate (at the same time as the arch at Bab el Khadra) with three arches, better adapted to the volume of traffic. \t\t \t\t\tBab saadoun 1880.
