Ortaklar

Ortaklar is a town in Germencik district of Aydın Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|53|N|27|30|E||| | |name= }} it is 10 kilometres to Germencik and 28 kilometres to Aydın. The population of the town is 12945 as of 2011. The village was founded after 1886 when the railroad from İzmir to Aydın was constructed.

Mycale Strait

The Mycale Strait (Greek: Στενό της Μυκάλης) is a narrow strait separating the island of Samos from Anatolia. At its narrowest point it is only 1.6 km wide, the narrowest between any Aegean island and Turkey. It is named after the nearby Mount Mycale on the mainland.

Library of Celsus

The library of Celsus is an ancient Roman building in Ephesus, Anatolia, now part of Selçuk, Turkey. It was built in honor of the Roman Senator Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus (completed in 135 AD) by Celsus' son, Gaius Julius Aquila. Celsus had been consul in 92 AD, governor of Asia in 115 AD, and a wealthy and popular local citizen.
