Kırcasalih

Kırcasalih is a town in Uzunköprü district of Edirne Province, Turkey, It is situated in the eastern Trakya (Thrace) plains at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|24|N|26|49|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Uzunköprü is 18 kilometres . The population of the Kırcasalih is 3305 as of 2011. The village was founded in the 14th century just after the early Turkish settlement in Trakya began. The earliest name of the town was Karacasalih.

Petrades

Petrades is the easternmost point of mainland Greece. It is located south of the community of Pythio. The community was affected by the floods of Evros which lasted from February 17 to March 8, 2005. Turkey is to the south and to the east. Forests are along the riverbed and farmlands are along Petrades. It is accessed by a road linking GR-51 near Didymoteicho and Pythio and Uzunköprü and south to Keşan.

Pythion

Pythion or Pythium, was an ancient city of Perrhaebia in Thessaly, situated at the foot of Mount Olympus, and forming a Tripolis with the two neighbouring towns of Azorus and Doliche. Pythion derived its name from a temple of Apollo Pythius situated on one of the summits of Olympus, as we learn from an epigram of Xeinagoras, a Greek mathematician, who measured the height of Olympus from these parts (ap.
