Turgutalp

Turgutalp is a town in Soma district of Manisa Province, Turkey. Belevi is a town in Selçuk district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Belevi is the home of Belevi Mausoleum which was built by Lysimachus during the Hellenistic period of Anatolia.

Ege University Observatory

The Ege University Observatory (Turkish: Ege Üniversitesi Gözlemevi, EUO) is a ground-based astronomical observatory operated by the Astronomy and Space Sciences Department at Ege University's Faculty of Science. Formally opened on June 22, 1965, it is located in Kurudağ at Kemalpaşa district, 10 km east of Izmir in western Turkey. The telescope domes of the observatory are situated at an altitude of 800 m while the main building is erected at 632 m .
