The population of the town is 218 as of 2011. The origin of the village residents are Turkmens of Afshar tribe who had migrated from the Central Asia in the Medieval Age.

Ardıçkaya (former Nadire) is a village in Ermenek district of Karaman Province, Turkey. Distance to Ermenek is 38 kilometres and to Karaman is 200 kilometres . The population of the town is 2615 as of 2010. The name of the town refers to junipers around the village (Ardıçkaya means "juniper rock").
