Halefoğlu is a town in the central district (Kars) of Kars Province, Turkey at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|39|N|43|18|E||| | |name= }}. It is 20 kilometres east of Kars. The population of Halefoğlu is 2597 as of 2011. With this population it is the most populous village of the province. There are also some Halefoğlu residents working in big cities. The economy of the town depends on agriculture and cattle breeding. There is also a dairy in the village

Kars Airport

Kars Airport is a public airport in Kars, Turkey. The airport, opened in 1988, is located 6 km from Kars. In 2006, Kars Airport served 2,352 aircraft and 270,052 passengers. The passenger terminal open to the public covers an area of 1,695 m and has a parking lot for 100 cars. The airport was closed in the spring and summer months of 2007 for renovation works. The re-opening took place on October 22, 2007.

Dağpınar

Dağpınar is a town in Digor district of Kars Province, Turkey at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|28|N|43|19|E||| | |name= }}. It is situated on a high plateau between Kars and Digor. Akyaka Railway Station

Akyaka Railway Station is a railway station in the town of Akyaka in the Kars Province of Turkey. The station is the easternmost operating station on the Trans-Anatolian railway. The station has no passenger traffic and is used as a freight station only.

Doğukapı railway station

The Doğukapı Railway Station is a freight station near the Turkey/Armenia border, on the former Kars–Gyumri railway line. The station building is abandoned and the tracks are rarely used. Since the closing of the border in 1993, no trains have operated east of the station.
