Bayramlı is a village in Uzunköprü district of Edirne Province, Turkey, It is situated in the eastern Trakya (Thrace) plains at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|18|N|26|49|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Uzunköprü is 15 kilometres . The population of the village was 444 as of 2011. The old name of this village was Tarnovo. It was a big Bulgarian village during the Ottoman Empire era. Büyükmandıra (or Mandıra for short) is a town in Babaeski district of Kırklareli Province, Turkey. The distance to Uzunköprü is 18 kilometres . The population of the Kırcasalih is 3305 as of 2011. The village was founded in the 14th century just after the early Turkish settlement in Trakya began. Battle of Boulgarophygon

The Battle of Boulgarophygon or Battle of Bulgarophygon (Bulgarian: Битка при Булгарофигон or Битка при Българофигон) was fought in the summer of 896 near the town of Bulgarophygon, modern Babaeski in Turkey, between the Byzantine Empire and the First Bulgarian Empire. The result was an annihilation of the Byzantine army which determined the Bulgarian victory in the trade war of 894–896.
