Derinçay (former Hocantı) is a village in Mut district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|43|N|33|19|E||| | |name= }} it is situated in the valley of Göksu River to the north of Mut. The distance to Mut is 15 kilometres and to Mersin is 180 kilometres . The population of the village was 207 as of 2011. The village is an old village founded by Turkmens. The oldest Ottoman documents about the village are of 15th century.

Alahan Monastery

The Alahan Monastery is a one hour walking distance from the village of Geçimli, located in the province of Mersin, Turkey. The site is being considered to be put on the World Heritage list of sites who have "outstanding universal value" to the world. In 2012, Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Mersin Governorship started restoration work on the site because of its history and heritage. On May 29, 2012 Greek Patriarch Bartholomew visited the monastery.

Burunköy is a village in Mut district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is a mountain village at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|44|N|33|23|E||| | |name= }} on the state highway D.715 which connects Mut and Silifke to Central Anatolia . Alaçam, Mut

Alaçam is a village in Mut district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|42|N|33|16|E||| | |name= }} it is situated to the northwest of Mut and south of Magras Mountain a part of Toros Mountains. Distance to Mut is 22 kilometres and to Mersin is 182 kilometres . The population of Alaçam is 820 as of 2011. The first reference to the village is dated at 1913. The origin of the population was probably a Turkmen tribe named Karadöneli.
