Ballıca is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated in the plains of Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|54|N|35|01|E||| | |name= }}. Its distance to Tarsus is 15 kilometres and to Mersin is 42 kilometres . The population of Ballıca was 170 as of 2011. There are tumuli of ancient ages around the village.
