Çağlayan, Trabzon

Çağlayan (literally "Waterfall") is a town in in the central district of Trabzon Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|54|N|39|43|E||| | |name= }} it is situated along the valley of Altındere creek. It is on Turkish state highway D.885 which connects Trabzon to hinterland . The distance to Trabzon is 16 kilometres . The population of the town is 4520 as of 2011. The area around Çağlayan was inhabited during the ancient ages.

New Trabzon Stadium

New Trabzon Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Akyazı, Trabzon, Turkey. It will effectively replace the ageing Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium, which has been in use since the early 1950s. It is expected to be completed in 2012, and will be used mostly for football matches and will host the homes matches of Trabzonspor. The stadium will have a capacity of 41,565 and will be totally covered.

Beşirli Tennis Courts

Beşirli Tennis Courts (Turkish: Beşirli Tenis Kortları), aka Beşirli Tennis Complex, is a tennis venue located in Trabzon, Turkey. Completed in 2011 at a cost of File:Turkish lira symbol 8x10px. png 20 million (approx. $ 12.5 million), the complex consists of a center court with 4,500 seating capacity, three indoor courts, twelve outdoor courts and a children's court. There are also social and leisure facilities in addition to rooms for health care, doping test and press.

Hagia Sophia, Trabzon

The Church of Saint Sophia (Greek: Ἁγία Σοφία, meaning "Holy Wisdom" Turkish: Ayasofya), now the Saint Sophia Museum, is a former Chalcedonian church located in the city of Trabzon in the north-eastern part of Turkey. It dates back to the thirteenth century when Trabzon was the capital of the Empire of Trebizond. It is located near the seashore and two miles west of the medieval town's limits. It is one of a few dozen Byzantine sites still existent in the area.

Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium

Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium (Turkish: Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu) is the home ground of the Turkish football (soccer) club Trabzonspor. The stadium was built in 1951 with a capacity of 2,500 seats. After several renovations, the capacity was increased to 20750 in 2008. The stadium is named after Hüseyin Avni Aker, a teacher and regional administrator for education, who served during 1940–1944 in Trabzon and contributed much to the local sports.
