Ruhabat District
Ruhabat District is a district of Ahal Province in Turkmenistan. Before October 2001 it was known as Ashgabat District. On October 22, 2008, a new textile factory was officially opened in the district, providing jobs for 550 people. The factory specialises in velvet and is expected to produce some one million meters of printed and painted silk velvet per year.

Abadan, Turkmenistan
Abadan is a town located near Aşgabat in the Ahal Province of Turkmenistan. It was founded in 1963. It was named Büzmeýin until October 2002 when its name was changed by Turkmenistan's president Saparmurat Niyazov. The traditional Russian name of the town is Bezmein (Безмейн). The town's current mayor, Orazmyrat Garajaýew, was one of the approved candidates for the 2007 presidential election. There are about 50000 people living in Abadan.

Gypjak
Gypjak (also known as Kipchak) is a small village about 10 kilometers away from the Turkmen capital of Aşgabat. The village is known as the home village of the first President of Turkmenistan, Saparmurat Niyazov. Niyazov, while president, built the Kipchak Mosque and a tomb there for his family. It is in this tomb where Niyazov was buried on December 24, 2006. The Gypjak Mosque, lies across a highway from the rest of the village but is generally open to both male and female visitors for prayer.

Ashgabat International Airport
Ashgabat International Airport, formerly known as Saparmurat Turkmenbashy International Airport, is one of two international airports in Turkmenistan. It is located approximately 10 km (6 mi) northwest of the capital Ashgabat (Ashkhabad). The airport, with its air traffic control tower and a 12,000-foot long precision approach runway (12L-30R), opened in 1994 and was named after the country's first president, Saparmyrat Niyazov.

Babadaýhan District is a district of Ahal Province in Turkmenistan. The name Babadaýhan is the Turkmenized form of the Persian name Bābā-Dihqān (بابادهقان), which eans “Forefather Farmer”, a mythological and ritual character whose cult has been reported in agrarian communities of mountainous and lowland Tajikistan, North Afghanistan and adjacent rural areas of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.
