Zhovti Vody is a city in south-central Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The city is designated as a separate raion (district) within the oblast, and is located on the Yellow River approximately 130 km west of the oblast's administrative center, Dnipropetrovsk. It is a center for the extraction and processing of uranium ore. The historic Battle of Zhovti Vody was fought on the site of the present-day city.
