Voinyliv

Voynyliv (Ukrainian: Войнилів / Voinyliv / Vojnyliv, Polish: Wojniłów / Voyneeloow, Russian: Войнилов / Voynilov / Voinilov) is a town in western Ukraine. Voynyliv is situated in Kalush Raion of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, ca. 100 km from Lviv. The closest city is Kalush to the west. Machliniec

Zhuravno

Zhuravno is a small town in the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine. It has a population of 3,655. The town was first mentioned in 1435. In the 16th century, Zhuravno was granted city status. Zhuravno gained recognition in Polish history because of the battle which took place nearby between the king of Poland, Jan Sobieski, and the Turkish and Tatar invaders, a battle that ended in a peace treaty. The town was also the birthplace of the renowned Polish poet and author Mikołaj Rej.
