Dovbush rocks
The Rocks of Dovbush is a group of natural and man-made structures carved out of rock at around 980m ASL in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast of western Ukraine. The name of the formations comes from a leader of the opryshky movement, Oleksa Dovbush. The rocks are a part of the Polyanytskiy Regional Landscape Park. Archeological finds point to the existence of a pre-Christian observatory in the rocks around the 10-17th centuries BC.

Hoshiv
Hoshiv is a village in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast of Ukraine, located about 4km south east of Bolekhiv and 12km north west of Dolyna, at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:49|1|30|N|23|52|52|E| |primary |name= }}. Known for its Basilian monastery. The monastery was established in 1570. In the 17th century it was plundered and destroyed by Tatars and later rebuilt at its present location on top of a hill called Yasna Hora.

Stryi (air base)
Stryi (Ukrainian Стрий, also given more correctly as Stryj, or yet Stryy) is an air base in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine located 4 km southwest of Stryi. It is a large base with 6 km of parking area taxiways and numerous revetments. Units that have been stationed at Stryy include: 179th Fighter Aviation Regiment (179 IAP) flying 43 MiG-23MLD aircraft at the end of the Cold War. This regiment was under 8th Air Defence Army Soviet Air Defence Forces (8 OA PVO). In 1992 it was taken over by Ukraine.
