Borki train disaster

The Borki train disaster occurred on October 29  1888 near Borki station in the former Kharkov Governorate of the Russian Empire, 295 kilometers south of Kursk, when the imperial train carrying Tsar Alexander III of Russia and his family from Crimea to Saint Petersburg derailed at high speed. Twenty-one people died at the scene and two later, with between 12 and 33 injured.

Zmiiv

Zmiiv is a city in Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine. The population as of 2001 was 17,063. Zmiiv is the administrative center of Zmiivskyi Raion. Between 1976 and 1990, the city was renamed after Klement Gottwald, a Czechoslovak politician, to Gotwald.
