Berezan Estuary
Berezan Estuary, or Berezanskyi Liman, is open estuary on the northern coast of the Black Sea, western from the town Ochakiv. Length 26 km, width 4 km in south. Separated from the sea by sandbar, which has 640 m canal. Coasts are high. Two rivers, Berezan and Sasyk, inflow to the estuary.

Ochakiv
Ochakiv is a small city in the Mykolaiv Oblast of southern Ukraine. Serving as the administrative center of the Ochakiv Raion, the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast, a city of regional importance. It is located on a peninsula in the Black Sea, at the entrance to the Dnieper Estuary, just opposite of Kinburn. For many years the city-fortress served as a capital of the Ottoman province.

Berezan Island
Berezan is an island in the Black Sea at the entrance of the Dnieper-Bug Estuary, Ochakiv Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine. The island measures approximately 900 metres in length by 320 metres in width. It is separated from the mainland (to which it may have been connected long ago) by about a mile and a half of shallow water.

Berezan' Runestone
The Berezan' Runestone was discovered in 1905 by Ernst von Stern, professor at Odessa, on Berezan' Island (also known as the Island of St Aitherios) where the Dnieper River meets the Black Sea. It is 48 cm wide, 47 cm high and 12 cm thick, and it is presently located in the museum of Odessa. It was made by a Varangian trader named Grani in memory of his business partner Karl. They were probably from Gotland.

Kinburn foreland
Kínburn Foreland or Kinburn Spit - a spit located in Ochakiv Raion (district) of Mykolaiv Oblast at the Black Sea in Ukraine. It occupies the western part of the Kinburn peninsula being its natural extension that stretches westwards into the Black Sea between the Dnieper-Buh estuary and the Bay of Yahorlyk. Its length is about 40 km, width - 8–10 km. In southern Ukraine, Kinburn Foreland is often messed with Kinburn Peninsula, part of which it appears to be.
